This course offers adult returners a coherent, integrated and supported year of study through which they will gain the knowledge, awareness, skills and confidence necessary for successful future undergraduate study. The students worked with teachers and technicians to learn specific skills: Printmaking, bookbinding, darkroom photography, illustration, 3D, ceramics among others. By providing a broader sector experience the course encourages learners to take on some individual research, enabling them to be further prepared for higher-level learning. 

The whole class worked incredibly hard this year experimenting with many different mediums and projects. Over lockdown, they worked on printmaking and bookbinding as well as their own practice. Every person has improved their skills throughout the year and is leaving with a better understanding of different creative pathways.
